S: Sing, Dear

I don’t even
Consider
This time
What are we to do
There’s lighting in the sky
Yet we’re here
Right now
Smiling
Because we know how
To make fun
Out of boring
Are you boring?
I hope not
Sing to me
I know the rain is falling
But,
Sing to me,
Anyway!
I don’t care what genre
Give me something, anything
Listen here to Madonna
Three Days Grace, or Linkin Park
Play a tune
I’d love to hear your amazing voice
Sing to me here
Under the cloudy sky
I’ve heard of ACDC, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne
Anything at this moment
I’d be okay
Because right now all I hear is thunder in the clouds
Sing to me
I know that the rain is falling. Although,
If you sing to me we could possibly fall in love
There’s the band called Westlife
I know it cause I’ve heard.
Epica and Nirvana, Boys Like Girls are bands too so I’ve heard.
Sing to me about the blues skies
Sing to me about anything
All I want is to hear you amazing voice
Sing to me
My dear.

S: Your Worth

There will be days that I won’t have your touch
No matter, your love is deep within
Distance will grow only physically between us
Because there is nothing that will stop me from loving you

Don’t ever believe that I’ve forgotten
About the love that you’ve given to me
Somehow, we fell in love
It was a chance and one that was worth taking

As a choice we continue to love one another
Little act by little action we show each other
That our love is true, known by more than our eyes

Live without me, because I’ll always be there
Support is something I will not give up
Due to the love that holds us together, we will never break apart
Despite a lack of an official relationship

With or without terms, these matter none
For we live knowing of our love
Until we see each other again
Never allow anyone to get you to believe

In a falsification about me
Love, isn’t the only aspect that has kept us together
Trust, Admiration- So much more

So remember who will always love you outside of family
Deep down, if anyone tries to make you believe that you’re less
You’re not, because you’re worth more than two years to me

S: Only Myself

S - Single. Does not belong to a specific poetry book.
 -
It isn’t you I understand
It’s all me and that much makes sense
Because it always is
No matter the situation
These tears, aren’t for you
They’re for my foolishness
And for what I thought through
How could I ever be, so stupid?

Chorus:
It doesn’t makes sense, oh no- not this right now
Because I’m so confused
Who am I to blame?
I blame myself, but then- whose fault is it
I don’t’ know
Sighing I look out in the distance
And I wonder, does anyone understand me
What am I doing? Am I looking for something more?

Sitting down alone I realize that this time scare me quite a bit
I’m nervous, slightly

Chorus
It doesn’t make sense, oh no- not this- oh not now
Because meanings seem to blend together, what happened
I try not to lose myself because the person I hold onto is myself and right now my own confidence has faded
What am I to do? It makes me wonder
What have I been through? I ask myself
Is there anything worse than this?
Waking up, I realize that things are different
I don’t feel the same
Don’t tell me that
I already choose the wrong decision
Who is there to blame?
I’ll blame myself and no one else
And yet it still doesn’t make sense
It’s not that I’m not trying to make this not ‘0make sense’
All I want, is for someone to tell me
What’s going on
Oh I don’t know
Right now I want to comprehend why thing are happening
But obviously, that’s not working
I feel so riled up to the top
Would someone help me?
Oh stranger, would you please
Afraid, a foe,
Either way, I won’t mind you at all
Help me
I’m desperate here
And I’m still baffled by the things people put me through
So who Is the blame
I don’t know
I’ll blame myself.
Chorus
But does it have to make sense?
That’s the question
Let me blame the only culprit
Trapped behind a mirror
Myself

B: Opposing Umbrage: Forward

On Saturday will you hear me
Disappointed will I not be
An appointment shall we make
Keeping secrets to debate
Painful ones, silent memories
One has to say what one is thinking
Go together or not at all
What got us to this point?
Fallen... Have we all
Head forward, stay alive
For found in darkness is a light
Wrong are we?
Or learning thus we must?
Awaken, knowledge
A decision awaits
To complete

B: Regaining Strength: Home

Home, a place, a noun, a word-
In a heart, that knows not of those bounds ‘home’ means something other
To this heart it means someone, it means people, it means love
In truth, ‘home’ is where loved ones are,
Where the ones who one are cared about live their roles

When this hear reaches it, no city, no country, no ocean can breach
The connection to those who are the home of one’s true given need.
A house, a place, a welcome mat
These are known to a physical home

Psychologically, not able to understand this concept the one who feels does not know
Why is a home a thing? How can home be a stationary place?
What is home when there is no love?
In silence, a house will wait

To the person this heart belongs to,
Love runs deeper than any solid gate
However, home was never ‘one’ but ‘many’
Due to a search that this heart had made

A friend, a lover, a good companion
An abode did this heart contain
Spoken of in the physical world,
Still unknown to a brick weaved in cement

Confused but not confined to
The homes that this heart had gained
Warmth, no matter where it went
One word, Home: a natural connection to love in its finest state

B: Regaining Strength: Breakdown

B - Book
 -
Hear me out, my heart cries
While holding onto what’s left of me
With a pulse, it whispers,
“Do you remember, who you are?”

After all of these years of making others happy
Realization hit my core,
An aching heart, barely letting me breath
Reminds me, deep down I can’t get rid of the simplest parts of me

Take my mind, wash away creativity
Then the body, and who it belongs to
My eyes, see only black or white
As for my lips, I cannot speak without being spoken to

However, my heart, the deepest part of me
It may whisper but it is there.
Deep down, it calls for me, to remember
Drowning, in all other task at hand
Simple as a beat, it patiently waits for the time

When my ears hear it one day, and my mind becomes ablaze
A body not one’s own, controlled by another mind, is a puppet
Eyes that do not see detail might as well be blind
Lips that speak not for one’s self, have no use for a voice

Sunrise, the least expecting time.
At night I lie awake, then when the morning comes, I break
Thinking to myself, who am I? What have they turned me into?
To no avail, they come to me, barking commands.

“I am who I am.” I say, as they speak
Sharp, as a whip, they glare and ask, “Excuse me?”
Pulse into a pound, my heart tries to steady,
“This is it. Tell them who you are.”

Depending on the person, this may be easy
Others may not speak
Desperate, a heart will try to reach one’s sense
Although, not all will reach this moment

Some never understand why they don’t feel happy
Never once being allowed to feel for their own
Always being told what to do, how to do it, and when
Not once, being allowed to be who they are

Stripped away, their personalities are gone
Only black or white exist
Luckily, there is always a chance to recover
If only everyone knew how.
